Nice early Humber in good unrestored condition. Pioneer Run entrant and all important Pioneer certificate included. Interesting history file and once owned & ridden by CH Bullen in the Pioneer Run in 1946. We have the programme. Offered with 12 months MOT & tax, old mot certificates and the old brown logbook.
Humber built three-wheeled forecars and four-wheelers as well as motorcycles which they manufactured from 1902 to 1930. Initially their machines were built under Phelon & Moore licence using a single cylinder P&M engine and two-speed chaindrive transmission, but later examples had their own engines of 496cc, 596cc and 746cc. These included sidevalve flat-twins which were built up until 1922, subsequent machines having single-cylinder 349cc engines with either sidevalve, ohv or overhead cam. Competition success included a win in the 1911 Junior TT.
I have just ridden this bike on the road and it goes very well. I was able to stop the engine and restart by pedalling while still sitting. Very impressive. Really enjoyed it.
