1920 Armis 300cc JAP Extremely rare, we haven't seen another one

We have found another 300cc JAP 4 stroke. 1920 Armis, very, very rare, I had never seen one before, there is just one other in the VMCC Machine Register. 2 speed gearbox and clutch mean luxury vintage motoring.

Armis Motorcycles were built from 1919-1923 in Birmingham.

This bike looks to be in good order, probably an older restoration, maybe around 1994 when it was re-registered. It is by no means concours condition, but a tidy usable old bike. We have a current V5C with the original but non-transferrable number. Last MOT ran out in March 2011, but we would be pleased to provide 12 months MOT & tax for the buyer.

The paperwork includes the old brown logbook, old tax discs for 1959 and 1964 and several mot certificates. A photo of the Armis at the 1962 Banbury Run, and a copy of the programme entry.

There are also some copies of 1920 magazine articles and a 1924 JAP parts manual.
